Martha's Shawl and Holly's Fair Isle

Martha is wearing a beauty of a shawl that she knit.
She suggests knitting it with Madelinetosh lace or Silky Alpaca Lace.  We have many colors to look through at your leisure.
This aqua blue looks striking against her neutral brown top.
Ask Martha about her favorite shawl patterns when you visit us.
Holly is working on this fabulous Fair Isle project.

Holly tells us you choose several colors that play well together.
You will have enough left over to reverse the color scheme for your second cowl.
Fair Isle is a wonderful knit technique that you learn once and keep forever.  Using age old charts, this fun knit work looks fresh every time you cast off.   It is adds a classic look to each of your knits.

Interested in learning fair isle knitting?
Let one of our instructors teach you how in a private lesson.
Once you've mastered the technique your knits will never be the same.
