Knit NIght Inspiration Continues

What do you get when you blend knitting and crocheting?
You get Tunisian Crochet.
Last night at Three Bags Full Knit Night we had all kinds of beautiful works in progress to share.
This double hat in Tunisian crochet is being worked in a purple and a yellow blend.
Feather and fan lace work is a good way to branch into lace knitting.  The pattern is easy to see as you work it.
This soft vest is from a knitter's Sirdar pattern.
The great thing about Knit night is the inspiration we give to one another.  Just look at this shetland sweater.
The knitter said it is going to be a long time project for her.
It has a very classic look to it, don't you think?

Many people were knitting socks and showing us their finished socks.
We have so many yarns to choose from for the sock enthusiast.
Happy Feet ,Frolicking Feet, Regia, Fixation, and of course Madelinetosh sock are just a few of our favorites.
This heart lace sock is a Valentine's day masterpiece.
One of the best parts of knit night is getting to see a project to completion.  This gorgeous wheat wrap was just in the beginning stages last fall.  Here it is, blocked and beautiful.
Doesn't she look pretty wearing her creation?
Noro never seems to go out of fashion.
Barbara was knitting her Noro Silk sweater.
Can you tell she is working on a sleeve?
Baby knits and crochet are always represented as well.
These little socks whip up in a flash and keep tiny toes warm in the winter.
Carol was finishing her Plum Pudding in Liberty washable wool for her sassy little friend.
Having shown it to her, she proclaimed,  "but it's not PINK."
We are hoping she loves it anyhow.
There's always pink Liberty wool if she has to make another.

We hope you will join us in an upcoming Knit Night.
They are held once a month on a Friday night from 7 to 10.
There is no fee for attending.
Bring your work and come on in!
