Knit Night Inspiration

We had a wonderful Knit Night last night.

Lynette was able to sit with us and share her woolly wisdom during the event.  She is knitting this black and white reversible masterpiece.

Beth, who is new to knitting, was working on her snuggly Ombre Afghan.  The pattern is from Last Minute Knitted Gifts book and uses two strands of Alpaca worked together throughout.
There are only knits and slips to this pattern. For those of you who don't like to purl...this is it.
She will be adding blues to the mix as she progresses.
Good Luck Beth, it is already fantastic.
We'd love to see it when you finish.

Our Yarn Crawl shop pattern: A Friendly Scowl, is still being enjoyed by many.   One knitter had started hers in creams using Zara, a hand-dye yarn.  This versatile pattern will keep your interest and can be created with many different yarns in our Studio.

Pam was working on a neck warmer for her son.
She is using Baby Alpaca Grande Tweed yarn.
The pattern is Plymouth Yarn's Hooded Neckwarmer.
It is bound to be a winner in this frigid weather.

Karen celebrated her 60th Birthday with yarn and lots of it.
She is knitting
the Sothia Shawl by Robin Ulrich.
The pattern is available on Ravelry.
She loves the ease of the pattern.

Just look at this wonderful wreath that Patty was creating.
Lynette has helped her with the construction, and you can ask her about knitting your own.  It is a Churchmouse At Home pattern.  She had ribbon and burlap that will be added later.

More Knit Night photos to come!

Thanks to all who came and made a very cold Friday night into a warm one.
