Today Is Project Linus Annual Make a Blanket Day!

We gladly accept machine washable hand made blankets for Project Linus at the Studio.
February 20th is the annual Make a Blanket Day, but donations are welcome the whole year through.
Project Linus is always in need of blankets of any size.
Not sure what to knit next?
Want to do something wonderful for a great cause?
Project Linus will love your blankets.
Do you own an atenti bag?
This one is so beautiful and just the right size for small projects.
We have many beautiful bags at a variety of prices all around the Studio.   They make wonderful gifts for your knit and crochet pals.
If you've lived in Chicago for any period of time, you know that despite today's amazing 60 degree temps, we have lots of winter and cold left this season.  It isn't too late to knit up this fuzzy sweater or the easy cowl.
Last week Shelley's students were knitting this gorgeous cabled bag.
The beauty of this construction is that you start at the bottom.
The bottom panel assures the bag will not flop over.
It is a pretty knit that combines a cable on its front that runs up the handles.
We have many yarns that would work with this pattern.

Finally, this is no Spring Chicken.
She's a winter class!
Isn't she darling?
