Independence Knitting

Everywhere you look, people are getting ready for summer.
You have month to go, if you want something wonderful to knit or crochet for Independence Day.
Not so fast?  You have even more time before Labor Day.
Jillian has gathered some wonderful children's knits in the classroom.

We have many red, white and blue yarn ideas for you.

Superwash Cascade makes hats that say "USA!" year round.
Everyone loves a patriotic pair of socks.
The 31st Summer Olympics are next year.

Cascade 220 knits up like a winner time and time again.
Debbi Bliss baby cash merino knits up in soft stripes.
Do you know a momma-to-be with a July Due Date?
The Starry button gives this hat some whimsy.

We have red, white and blue in almost any weight and fiber you can wish for.
Have you knit with Zara?  This yarn deserves a medal; it is soft and has some bounce to it.  It makes working with it, really easy on  the hands.
We even have Red White and Blue Buttons.
 Looking for some cotton?
Rowan cotton makes fun blankets to wrap little ones in when the sun goes down.
You can knit up a bag in no time to carry your
knitting on the boat, the dock, the picnic or the porch.

Come in and we can help you find the perfect summer project.
Happy FLAG day!

  1. Knitting is such a therapeutic thing to do, especially when you're travelling! And as you point out it's always awesome to have a project to work on!
