Ready Set Yarn Crawl!

Ready?  The Chicago Yarn Crawl starts August 2nd and runs through the 10th. 

We are ready.  In addition to events with Rowan on August 5th, 

from 7 to 8 thirty, 

and Claudia August 6th and 7th, 

we have special SUNDAY HOURS

August 3rd and 10th from 

12-4.

There's nothing like a Sunday afternoon stroll through the Yarn Studio.  

Come get your passport. 

That's how it works. 

You "Travel" from sponsoring yarn shop to shop and inspiration abounds. 

Each shop holds a raffle and special events.

These baby blankets are just waiting for you to knit them up for a wee one.  The green blankie is knit from BIG BAD WOOL's Weepaca and is sooooo soft.  

Why?  Because it is super wash merino and baby alpaca.

Santa Claus is coming to class actually-

Our new syllabus for fall is coming. 

Linda is teaching this Norwegian Santa knit, in her class Saturday afternoons November 8, December 6th and 13th. 

He's just waiting to sit on your mantle or under your tree. 

For the little boys in your life Linda is teaching MONSTER

class on Tuesdays in the late afternoons.  From 5-630 November 4th, 

11th and 18th. 

Finally, 

Daryl was working on her wool sweater at the Studio.

She started it long ago and is determined to finish it. 

It is a Hanne Falkenberg design. 

Just look at those colors.
