Welcome to Our Corner of the Blog World

Three Bags Full Knitting Studio in Northbrook, Illinois
welcomes you to our new blog: ThreeBagsCorner.

Visit us every Monday and Thursday for tips,
raffles, store news and pattern ideas.

During our first month, just mention this blog when you visit the store, and you'll be entered to win this lovely Lantern Moon Bag.

Today, Monday June 16th is the start of Kids' Knitting Camp.  It is always amazing to see how quickly young minds wrap themselves around knitting.

Thursday afternoon a new Beginning Socks Session starts.
Ever wonder why people love to knit socks?
They are an easy project to transport on that car trip you are planning with the family.   Everyone will be asking you to knit them a pair of socks.  They are a very personal gift.
Best of all, there is a sock yarn for every budget.
From cotton to cashmere, socks fly off the needles.

It is not too late to learn to knit the elegant Featherweight by
Knitbot, below.  The Wednesday class begins this week.
Give us a call 847.291.9933 and we can sign you up for this wonderful knit project. It is perfect for chilly summer nights when the wind is coming of the Lake.

A final thought today,  Lynette has printed patterns and pattern books at deeply discounted prices in the back of the store.
Get yourself a summer iced tea or coffee and sift through the patterns at your leisure.
You are sure to find some inspiration at your comfort level for a lovely summer knit.

(go ahead, leave us a comment…we'd love to hear from you)
